Wow, wow, wow! Atta boy, Emmett! That was wonderful. Just a little too late... well, maybe not. I really think you nailed this whole dysfunctional family. Too bad Mel wasn't there to get the rundown.
I wanted to slap Michael across the head with his whining and disbelief.
Ted couldn't have said anything, even if Brian hadn't requested him not to. An accountant is sworn to secrecy just like an attorney, and they can't disclose anything.
I LOVED the line: “There are a few things I could share if you would like?”
Maybe Ted was referring to all the sex and drugs Mikey's been getting into in the backroom ever since Ben. Hmm, I wonder if Michael and Todd exchange 'who's best in the backroom' stories? :D

I loved this story. I do think "the family" takes Brian for granted most of the time. The only ones whoever seemed to realize who Brian really was inside was Justin and Ted, followed closely by Emmett. I'm so happy that he got to marry Justin and have a real family with him and Justin.
