It was bad enough when you had Justin put the baby in the washer, but then to have them throwing metal and glass objects in the same room as their baby...no, this isn't funny, it's dangerous and it makes both Justin and Brian look like idiots. I can't laugh at this stuff.
And colic can be easily taken care of, you lay a heating pad on towels or baby blankets, then remove them from pad, lay them acrossed your lap and lay the baby face down on top of them. Keep warming new blanket and changing them out. My grandmom and mom taught me that with my son and all by neices and nephews. Simple or it might have been nice to ask someone to help them at night, either family or hire someone.
I just can't find this funny at all.

I gotta say, you're the first reviewer that hasn't found the antics of our new parents at least a little bit funny. After having successfully raised two children to adulthood myself, I find it all hilarious. Parents - even well-meaning parents - sometimes do stupid things, but as long as we love our children and learn from the experience both we and the children tend to survive and thrive. And if you don't try and maintain at least a moderate sense of humor while raising your kids, you'll end up resentful and unhappy, and so will your kids. Also, I had a child with colic myself and for at least a few weeks there was literally NOTHING that would stop his crying. Don't tell me you have the magic solution when all the experts on the subject will confirm that there isn't one. I'm glad your solution worked for you, but that approach didn't work for my kid. So, all I can say is, I think you're taking this story waaaaayyyyy too seriously. Lighten up. It's fiction for fuck's sake. lol. TAG

I loved this series and must admit I am one of those fans who is saddened that it has ended -I truly would be very happy to continue reading much much more. We need to know about the twins. I'd love to see Brian joggling between to screaming newborns, while dealing with Kevan too, and Justin coming home to that picture. It's hilarious. I hope I just gave you an idea for at least another chapter....or maybe a new sequel? :)
I'm happy Brian and Michael are back on speaking terms.
Of course, Kevan is a nudist, just like his daddy. It would be funny if Gus did it too once he got back home, and told a scandalized Lindsay that his little brother was allowed to be naked.

Did you even have a story that just ended on you when you weren't even looking? That's what this one did. But after I wrote the chapter and saw how it was so perfectly symmetrical with the start of the story/series, I just knew that was where I had to leave it. AWWwww... Smiling through tears over here!! I'm so proud of the man Brian has become in this series. YES! It took some doing to get him there but it was all worth it to see him happy and confident in his own right. Justin by his side is all gravy! Great job, Tag! I really would like a sequel but I know personally how these things go. Unless a plot bunny torments you into submission where it's either you write or let it go, there won't be another. I will miss this verse greatly but it will ALWAYS be one of my favorites!

I'm always torn when I finish a story - part of me is so thrilled that I've completed another one but another part is always sad to see it go. I think it was a great run too. And, just between you, me and the doorpost, I was going to subject Brian to twin girls just so he'd have to deal with the girly parts! LOL.
