this........well, this was great! Couldn't help but laugh a bit in parts. I mean, Michael is just SO delusional that it's almost funny. the fact that Emmett, Justin, blake and Ted overheard all that as well, again, while a bit sad, I admit to laughing a bit. I mean talk about BUSTED! the yall know just how out of his head Michael really is. I was imagining Emmett's and Ted's faces and had to giggle abit. Justin...I'm thinking a bit hot under the collar, red-faced and completely thrown for a loop!
I felt awful for Ben. Oh how must've been gutted by that. Too many realizations made. I know he suspected and feared it, but to actually hear it. And poor Brian. must've been completely freaked out!
After reading some of your responses here, I know you hadn't intended to carry on with this, however....I must agree with everyone else here. You absolutely must! :) lol. It's just too good to stop! Hope you do.

When I thought of this it was only ever a one shot, but it seems like maybe some more is needed. I can't promise quick, but I will try to think of a sequel and work on it as quickly as I can.

I always shake my head at the antics of a delusional Michael. Will he ever get it into his thick head that Brian and him will never be his whatever will happen. I guess even if Michael were the last man on earth Brian would make due with his right hand.
Love the way Justin will come up on top, excuse the pun, when it comes to conflicts with Michael.
And a big hooray for Ben for leaving. I will never understand what he saw in MichaeL.

I love this, Kathy. I have a weakness for B/J in a committed relationship stories, as long as they're not too fluffy...and you do a great job with that. I also like delusional Mikey fics. I loved what you did with Interruptions, so I knew I'd enjoy this one.
I think it would be fun to do a series of delusional Mikey shorts. Just different scenarios of bumbling Mikey.

Because of Adele Michael's fantasy was becoming more and more appealing to him,or it already has..What the heck after the rejection he acts like nothing happen,i don't get him..
But i loved how calm Brian took it,but Justin not so much..If maybe B didn't get J home quickly he might actually did something that would wake Michael up from his Lalaland..
Loved it,as standalone it was good and written well..But i think i want to know what will happen to Ben and his marriage now..??

I hadn't anticipated this being more, but I am seriously considering wriring a sequel about the aftermath since there seems to be quite a bit of interest... it might take me a bit to find the time to do it, but now that idea is bouncing around my head.
