I've read some of the reviews for this chapter and I agree with everyone who is steamed about the munchers practically demanding to know how Brian will be providing for *their* children.

It's beyond obsurd that they even have the nerve to ask about Jenny, but to be honest, I haven't seen anyone say how obsurd it is for them to ask about Gus! I mean, we all know Brian is going to make provisions for him, but *legally*, which ought to be *all* up in Melanie's wheelhouse, he has absolutely no obligation whatsoever to provide any monetary assistance where Gus is concerned. Why is that never mentioned?

Also, we all know Mel can be a bitch, but I respected her character more because, at least, what you saw was what you got, but I thought Lindsay was worse! I absolutely loathed her character. She was a sneaky, conniving, spoiled bitch if there ever was one. I am enjoying these stories, but I do have to admit...the *intimate Wendy/Peter* moments between Brian and Lindsay are nauseating.

The plot thickens!!! This was a great chapter, and definitely an eye opener for Joan!! She really got an up close and personal look into Brian and Justin's life and everyone included in their family and, if I'm not mistaken, may have even had a revelation. Could she actually be coming around? I sure hope so!!

I love your storytelling. You have a beautiful imagination. I am currently re-reading this series. I loved it the first time and still find it as beautiful the second time. However, you are waaaay too forgiving when it comes to Michael, Melanie, Lindsay, Joan, and Craig. I think Joan and Craig deserved the attitudes the family had towards them. They asked for it with their behavior and belittling of their children. I don't feel that Joan has any right to expect Brian to pay for anything regarding her. As far as Michael, Melanie, and Lindsay are concerned, I'd tell them to kiss my ass and mean it. Brian is not responsible for their bills, their choices, or JR. JR is a wonderful child and we all know Brian and Justin will look out for her future anyway because she is family and they love her. But Mel and Lindz have no right to try to force their hands when they chose Michael as the father. They knew he wouldn't be able to provide for her when they asked him to be the father. Their choice, their consequences. And if anybody talked to my spouse or myself in such a denigrating way, their would be no friendship after the first three warnings were ignored.

really love this story, but in the future will the fact that JR is not Justin and Brian's daughter be adressed? I mena ralistically, she would not be treated the same because ther is a difference, and also the fact that the relationship between Brian and Mel, and also Brian and Micheal arent good.

Author's Response: That may be an issue from time to time. The fact that she is Gus' sister is more important to them.

Mel and Lindsey are creedy bitches.

Author's Response: You could say that.

A cliffhanger! And Craig is being an ass as usual.

It's great for Brian and his mother to have this opportunity to have a new beginning.

Author's Response: Craig never changes.

Chapter heavy on emotions! Is the end a new beginning for Brian and Joan?

Author's Response: That's very possible.

Finally, everything went well, except Emmett's queening out; at least, it made Brian laugh so hard that he forgot his bad thoughts.

Author's Response: Emmett is always helpful ;)

The munchers are greedy and mean bitches!!! I hate them! How dare they ask Brian to provide for JR when Mel made it clear that she didn't want Brian as the father of the second child. He is only good to help the kids they decided to have without thinking at the cost of said kids. Talk about irresponsibility.

Daphne is to come: good news!

Jennifer and Craig: she must feel so stupid for keeping her marriage afloat for so long.

Author's Response: The munchers never seem to hesitate to ask for money.

Sydney is a great human being, a rock for Justin, after Brian of course.

The name of the cottage(s) is a wonderful idea and tribute to Edna.

Author's Response: Glad you like the name.

Brian can smirk all he wants in front of Father Tom, he can't speak in front of dear Mother Joan. It shows how deep he is wounded and how afraid he is that Bree would turn against him one day. He is lucky to have found Justin and his brother.

Author's Response: Brian still has some deep wounds.

Even if Gus understands Brian/Bree relationship, he must feels bad sometimes.

Joan is snaking her way back in Brian's life via people she didn't want to consider.

Author's Response: I don't know about Gus feeling bad. He had a pretty good childhood in this story.

I'm wondering how Lacy could pass for a boy while hustling; if it was only for BJ I could understand, but if it was not, how could she hide that she was a girl?

Author's Response: I guess it depends what the john wants her to do.

I hope Justin won't have a nightmare and John won't have to deal with that.

Author's Response: That would be scary for both of them, but I'm sure John would handle it.
