All that nonsense about Justin not giving up his dream... Yeah, all that came right from Lindsay's vile lips. Justin told her that his dream was Brian. But she had to interfere. She had to tell Brian that Justin had to go. I'm fairly certain Lindsay also got Mel in on it, since Mel raved about Justin's painting to Brian, saying he needed to go.
Totally ridiculous when Justin didn't even have a college degree. When he didn't have formal training. No respectable art museum is ever going to accept him. Do you know how many young kids want to go to New York dreaming of making it in the arts?
One other beef - to lie here all wet and sticky - I detest that phrase. It reminds me of how Brian and Michael stood on the side of the road while Emmett was fixing the tire, and Brian kissed him, a little too long, a little too personal, as Mikey made googly eyes at him.
Overall, a very good story. I'm happy that Justin stood his ground, and Brian realized he needed this just as much as Justin did. Thank you for the wonderful story.

Soooooo ... I was hoping if I held off reading this chapter, that maybe you'd get the next one up, since I'm sure that will be the last chapter.
But as you can see, I didn't make it. This is so good. Brian better get with the program... Justin's back, and Justin doesn't want anything else but Brian.
Will Brian throw it all away? Well, *shhh* I don't think the author would do that to us. Right? :D

Author's Response: It will be the last chapter, but I'm currently stuck on a chapter of another story... but as soon as I finish it, I'll finally finish this story! Yes! But something tells me Brian will have a hard time understanding and will probably try to talk Justin out of it, but we know how persistent Justin is, haha! I'm sorry I'm late reading this. I put you on my favorites list, so I know when your updates come in. But I've been sick this whole last week. Which meant I wasn't online.
Anyway, the update was worth the wait. I'm interested in knowing what Brian's excuse will be for the lack of contact. Is it going to be the thing stomped in head from Lindsay, "leave Justin alone so he can focus on his art." I can almost hear the witch saying that.
I just hope Brian will have a heart-to-heart with Justin. Maybe Justin's ready to come home?
Lord, I hope Justin didn't break his tailbone! Wouldn't that be a way to spend the holidays? Recuperating in Brian's bed? Hmm... maybe not so bad on second thought.
Looking forward to the next chapter. I'm gonna start one of the multi-chaptered stories, plus there are some one-shorts left. I'm just thankful You're writing and posting regularly.

Wow! So glad to see there's going to be another chapter! :D
At the end, I kept thinking that when Brian walked away - saying they could talk later - he'd turn around and give Justin a big kiss. (Yeah, I can always dream.)
Isn't it strange that Christmas wasn't in the show? Other than the fake one after Vic's death? Especially when the show lasted five years.
Your writing is very clean. I took a writing course years back, since I did a lot of beta work, so this is an added bonus to your stories.

Author's Response: Yeah, there will be, maybe even two, let's see how well I can wrap up the story :D Oh that would be so good, I wish I had thought of that, but unfortunately it wouldn't fit the story at the moment... I'm sure they'll kiss soon though! It's totally strange! I never understood it either, it would be so great to have a real Christmas on the show!
