The ending was perfect. I did prefer the whole talk and decisions being made at the end, vs your normal big sex scene. Because this wrapped it all up in a neat package. You know what everyone’s futures will now include. I guess I can see Brian and Michael being civil at family functions, but I don’t foresee a friendship like they had, unless Michael gets some counseling and grows up. And treats Justin with respect. (And that's a tall order.)

I'm glad you liked the ending. There have been a few stories that I have ended more on an emotional level than the big smutty finish - LOL. It depends on the story and the circumstances. In this particular story I really felt to have a good closure some things needed to be clear between them, and of course, the readers as well. :)

I STILL think it would have been fun to see a naked Brian toting a gun or knife, and Justin could have stayed upstairs and poured a gallon of ice water on top of Ethan. And when Ethan begged to know what they had that he didn’t, Brian could have waved his hand down the length of his body and said, “SERIOUSLY?”
But yeah, the cops will get some chuckles. It’s always fun arresting the crazies.

Sean certainly didn't take the breakup well, but I guess from his POV, everything happened so fast from the time Justin left LA and went to NY on a business trip. Brian Kinney is always a game changer. Haha.

I’m not sure how to feel about this turn of events in their relationship. Justin still seems unwilling to share the bottoming. So what happens when Justin sets up a romantic night for them, but Brian decides to go topping and doesn't come home right away, and then is too tired, yadda, yadda… and that's a ‘what if’. Maybe it won’t come to that. But Justin assures he did like it when he bottomed, so what’s his problem? I just don’t want the guys to run into problems.
Arson. I can’t see it as Michael. But the thugs going through with it to get more blackmail money, possibly. Or would Sean do this, to get Justin home? Or is it going to simply be something faulty.

In canon, I don't think this would have worked, nor would Brian ever consider Justin being the more dominant top in the relationship. The characterizations are different in this story. I think a slight balance will be enough now that Brian has accepted his deep feelings for Justin. Overall, I think they will keep each other on their toes - LOL.

I think Justin is going into it thinking he is doing what the man he loves needs, and he certainly doesn't love the idea of Brian tricking, so what choice does he really have? At least, in his mind. This should give them a better chance at their future and relationship, but I can't see Justin changing completely. In this 'verse, that would change who he is as well.

Yes, Justin does love Brian. Justin is extremely dominant here and a bit ruthless as we've seen a bit of in his dealings with Michael. I think for one so young to achieve success as he has he would have to be. Even if Justin allows Brian to be the top, I can't ever see it being a 50-50 exchange in this particular story. I guess we'll see how it all plays out.

So if Justin wants a commitment and later possible monogamy, they share the top and bottom positions. Because if Justin isn’t willing to give Brian the chance to top, their relationship is doomed.

Justin probably doesn't realize he's being selfish. It's just how he's always been. I suppose becoming rich and powerful at such a young age has contributed to many of his tendencies.

I really have to wonder how Debbie will take the news. And I’d be surprised if she doesn’t blame Brian, or at least ask him what he did to cause Michael to do this.
Michael talks about life savings. I’ve never know him to have 15,000 just laying around. His cash flow always seemed paycheck to paycheck.
And here we go with Brian bottoming again. I just really don’t think that’s fair. Justin is taking a part of Brian’s livelihood. He’s always been a top, and unless they can switch, Brian will never totally belong to Justin.

Since there is a bit left in this story, it's possible that the dynamic will change between Brian and Justin. I do agree that the Brian we know wouldn't bottom this much. At the same time, in this story, Justin does seem a bit more of an alpha male that even Brian. Perhaps that will even out in time. I guess we'll see. :)
