I doubt Brandon wants to do anything that pushes Justin to Babylon, and especially Brian but he doesn't seem to make the best choices.

My poor mind must be slipping in my old age, as the arc of Justin/Molly twins and circumstances have totally slipped my mind. Oh well, something to look forward to, although I think I can guess Brian will remedy that. And this is a perfect example of the lack in the foster care system. I think - hope - they are more thorough today, but then people can portray one face to the authorities, and another behind closed doors.
I get tired of how Mikey always has to live in Brian's conquests. I mean who cares if Brian scored - or with whom. I know it's always like that, but I agree wth Brian. Find a life of your own. Stay out of mine.
Brandon - and his kind - make my skin crawl. Men in power, who expect you to do as they want. UGH! So I'm doubly glad Brian ran into Justin and Justin agreed to go to Babylon. It's the first step in the right direction.

Definitely a dark past for Justin and Molly, but Brian will probably have a hand in making things right - at least, let's hope so.
Michael is always a source of annoyance to me, but in this story, not as much as others. He doesn't need to know every intimate detail of Brian's life...no matter how much he thinks he does.
Hopefully things are moving in the right direction. The quicker Justin is away from Brandon the better...but that could take a bit.

Okay... I am now remembering this a little better, and let's just say, that Brandon is a low-down snake in this story.
And with Brian's five-hundred dollar bid, I'm certain none of the other men in the room had the cash to match or raise. I laughed at Emmett's opening bid of twenty-five dollars - and I hope he held no illusions of winning.
Yes, yes, yes - Justin needs to decide which is better - trying to put up with the slimy snake, Brandon - or trying to remain aloof of the temptation of Brian... It will be fun watching him decide.
When Marvin Gaye's name was mentioned, the first song that popped into my head, was Let's Get it On... which would have been appropriate - but probably more than for just a lap dance. (Maybe later!)

No, I don't think Emmett expected to win or was even seriously trying. It's as he told Brian, he was just having some fun. But, I doubt any of the gang would actively try if they knew Brian was bidding. They couldn't match his offers! LOL.
Justin certainly has a lot going on in his life, much more than Brian could even guess right now...but that will all become known soon.
That's a thought. I think I chose Sexual Healing for the beat, but either would have worked.

Lordy but I'm behind on my reading. A few days working on something else, and it's amazing at the updates!
Anyway, it's been a very long time since this story came out. Details are fuzzy, which is probably a good thing. It seems to me that Brandon tries to stand in Brian's way of getting Justin, but that's it... Although I think Brandon will be in for a few disappointments. So let the games begin...
And a masked, leather-clad, pole-dancing Justin, does bring about a seductive visualization.
And geez - just who will win the lap dance? *smirk*

Yes, this is another of my older stories. I suppose it's another slightly dark one, but in this, Brian isn't the dark character, and more open to having feelings. What a twist for me. LOL.
I think this particular set-up with Justin would have been irresistible for Mr. Kinney. Haha.
And yeah, I wonder who will win the lap dance. I just can't imagine!!
