I had to take time between everything to catch a chapter of this here and there. It had been way too many years since I read it, and if you should decide to continue some way with this, I wanted the whole story fresh in my mind.

I loved the ending. I found it humorous that Brian broached them living together as Salvatore’s suggestion, instead of just asking him. But the fact that Brian can admit how much Justin means to him, and how he would do everything in his power to protect Justin and Salvatore, that’s a huge leap in the Kinney Manuel.

It just hit me… Brian should have his name changed.

There is a continuation of this story in the works. I don't think another full story, but simply some chapters added on to this one. I had started writing it before last year became so crazy. Now, it's just a matter of getting back to it on my list. I will get there. And yes, the name change could be a part of the upcoming events. Why would he want to be linked to Jack and Joan Kinney now that he has the father he always wanted? I guess we'll see. 

Brian has come a long way for sure. I doubt that Justin will ever question Brian's feelings for him; at least when they are having a private moment. In the eyes of the world, and his men, Brian has to be the severe crime lord. 

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I do want to return to this 'verse more than I can say. Eventually, I will get there!

This was a perfect 'father/son' chapter. I loved Brian calling him Father again, to let him know it wasn’t just because of a crisis moment.

They needed this heart to heart. And to hear Brian say that he had always wished Salvatore was his father, was perfect.

Yes, they both needed this talk. It was long overdo, and it solidified so much. Salvatore is the perfect father in Brian's eyes here. I even think in canon that Brian would have fully accepted and embraced Salvatore as his father. A crime lord, maybe...but a father that would love and respect him. Always accepting him for who he is.

Come on, guys. Didn’t Salvatore teach both of them? He might be older, but he’s still Salvatore Caletti.

And if you two (Brian and Justin) wouldn’t have been getting your rocks off, you’d probably caught up with him before he left. Naughty, naughty, boys! But since Salvatore knows Brian's habits so well, haha, he knew he had time!

Salvatore knows his son so well. That's not saying he will approve of his more impetuous moments. Salvatore expects Brian to be more controlled than what he's showing since he became so captivated by Justin. I'm sure our boys will find a balance in time - hopefully!

Brian and Salvatore are really in a hard place right now... but I'm confidant it will work out. Brian just needed that reassurance that Salvaotre really loved him like a son.

The plan has got to be figured out and believable enough that nothing happens to Justin.

Yes, Brian and Salvatore are struggling right now; in fact, they are both really hurting. I think once Brian can take a moment and think of the moments they have shared in the past, even back to when he was a boy, his heart will open up to the father that truly adores him. Brian is so intuitve, he can't help but to see and feel it. 

They should come up with a working plan. I can't imagine the Sap and Brandon ever getting the best of Salvatore and Brian. With Justin with them as well, I'd say it's soon to be game over - hopefully!

Wow! I didn't think Brandon would leave Ethan alive. I was thinking Ethan could have overheard Brian and Justin when Justin said he was on the same side as Brian. But the little rat must have left right after Brian had shown up.

I'm glad I didn't need any brain bleach for Brandon and Ethan - thank you!

And burning down the Taylor house? War is going to start in the Virgin Islands.

There will be nothing tranquil in the Virgin Islands while these enemies are facing off. LOL. And Ethan is playing the wrong games at the wrong time. I'm sure that will be handled soon. :)

But hopefully, it's helping Brian work through thoughts of Salvatore. But I hope he speaks to Justn about it.

This is another story where there is a lot of heat. LOL. But, with the dynamics and the characters as they are here, I think it's to be expected. I think this could be a much-needed distraction, but Brian probably won't be okay until he works things out with Salvatore.

I have to wonder if anyone - or the bartender - was close enough to hear Brian's last words to Justin. Can't get much more erotic than that.

I wonder when Brian sobers up if he will be honest with Justin abut Salvatore.

But for now, it's a really good thing that Justin is getting a drunk Brian out of sight and back to his suite.

Brian’s thoughts while listening to the simpering, begging Ethan was funny. Yes, Brian should mix a little business where Ethan is concerned. He will only get worse.

Nice twist. Especially when Brian was holding Brandon down with the gun pointed at him, and Justin came from behind and threatened to shoot. If that happened, Justin would have had to take out Sap.

But then he held his knife on Brian, so I'm not sure about the game this young gun is playing at.

But I love that Brian and Justin both work for Salvatore.

And thank the good lord Jack had a slow, painful death. I always wished that for him. Joan too. When she wouldn't even sign the papers to save her life - yep, she deserved to die too.

A few twists and turns in this story, but they all contributed to the story, I think. 

Salvatore certainly knows how to recruit/train his henchmen. Lol. 

I can't imagine being the man that brutalized Salvatore's son. The man is scary. Of course, we know he his one weakness is his son.

Well, well. The boys all meet. It would have been something to see Brian take out Sap and Brandon, and him and Justin looking at each other - both pointing guns.

Now we know WHY Salvatore sent Brian to the Virgin Islands. To get an up close and personal look into Sap's operation.

I'm not sure what I want to do more. Fuck you... or kill you.

Probably both - in the order listed.
