Brian's an intelligent man, he can find the words to sell his product so easily but he can't find the words to talk to someone so important in his life. This is why I never made Justin the bad guy in the relationship. Brian knew Justin had just went through a tramatic injury, he knew Justin wasn't the same as he was before the bashing but he still couldn't give the kid an inch. Justin wants a picnic on the floor, Brian has to be there for Michael, if Brian would have told Justin about Ben Justin would have been up off the floor in a moment, Brian was wrong for not telling him why. I always saw Brian as causing his own pain, being his own worst enemy. He was so busy running from Justin, (mostly running to Michael) he lost the most important person in his life at that time.
Thank you for sharing your words with us. Look forward to more.

Really great story. Terrific writing. I hated the whole Ethan thing, but it was a good plot for the series. It wouldn't have mattered who it was, I just always wanted Brian and Justin together. Still do !!!!!!

Hey Rody,
This is how that whole arc should have gone, even if it was a necessary evil at the time. Michael never would have had a chance to inject his two brain venomous cells into their relationship to separate them, and they would have had a chance to work out their problems in relative privacy. I really loved your take on this! If you ever wanted to pick up the story from here, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to reading it.
HUGS and LOVE,
~Nichelle

I definitely prefered your version to what actually happened. I always despised the second season with Ethan.
