Perfect happy ending! Great story - one I’ll be adding to my favorites so I can read it again & again. And that video! Just . . . All of it is perfection. Thanks for writing! TAG
Author's Response:
I was so in love with the video from the night she showed me the rough draft. Especially the bridge...which I told her was "fucking amazing." And back then it was missing most of the sound it has in the final version. The sound made it even more impactful I think. I so appreciate her doing it! I also love that you loved the story and how it ended! <3

This story was amazing. Thank you so much.
As for ideas here is mine. I think is time for Justin to have a biological child.
Both Brian and Justin deserve a little Sunshine runing around their house.
Author's Response:
Thank you <3 I'm glad that you loved the story!

True- it does tell how they met- Brian in a coffee shop- etc but expanding on their friendship - Brian opening up to Rob- Rob pushing his buttons on his disability- any of those.
You could also explore a little about Brian's initial fear of telling Justin- the phone calls where he talked but didn't say anything.
I'll have to go through the story ( such a hardship ) and see if there are areas I would love explored. I really liked this universe and you've done such a good job in it.
Maybe explore them going back and forth between New York and Pitts
Brian could become even more involved in accessibility - making more places accessible in New York or in the Pitts
Justin having another successful show and maybe getting an opportunity to show outside of New York- abroad- their fears of and excitement about that chance
Author's Response:
Great ideas! Thank you!

Great ending to a fabulous story. They truly have been through hell and back. They had lots of difficulties and yet their love and devotion to each other showed through no matter what was happening. Loved the video too. As I said earlier, a story about Brian and Rob's friendship - how they met/ became friends etc would be great
Author's Response:
How they met is covered in Rob's first POV in this story (Friendship) but I could definitely expand more on the process of them becoming friends. :) Thanks for reading -- I'm glad you enjoyed it and liked the ending! <3

This was such a gorgeous story. I’m glad you’ll still be writing in this universe. I’d live to see them with a kid. Or a cat lol!
Author's Response:
Thank you <3 I'm happy that you all want to keep reading in this verse! They have "sort of" kids with Rob and Adam's girls...that might be as close as we get but I don't know. ;)

Thank you for this wonderful story and the ending. The tissue box came out when I saw it was the last chapter. I tend to grow very attached to a story and this one is exceptional. The writing is beyond amazing and thank you for sharing your thoughts with the readers. I will never fully understand what is so compelling about the story of Brian and Justin. I alternate between the characters, the writers and most importantly the actors who brought them to life. Whatever it is, they have become a part of so many people's lives including mine. I will be happy to read anything you write to continue their story. My rating will, of course, be a 10, but it would be higher if possible.
Author's Response:
I love Brian and Justin too...well, all the main characters really. But I'm really in love with this version of Brian and Justin, which is why I can't let them go! I'm glad you guys all like them as well, so I can keep going. ;) Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!

Fantastic ending or beginning again. You gave us a wonderful and happy time taking us to where they started.
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm glad that you liked how it ended! It really did feel like they came full circle.

Where's a damn tissue when you need one?
Life bought them full circlel. You did a beautiful kob writing this.
Author's Response:
I made myself cry writing the wedding scene and the ending. <3 I'm so glad that you liked the ending! Thanks for reading!

Great finale for an amazing journey! It was so important for Justin to remember and he did; it's a relief for both of them.
Thank you for sharing it.
The video is beautiful and the song seems made for them.
I can't wait to see what you will be cooking for us in the coming days/weeks.
Author's Response:
Thank you! I'm glad you felt it was fitting. Thanks for reading and always taking the time to comment! <3 I'm already started on the first one shot...and a hint on the content is that I had to balance out all of this fluff and positivity with some angst... ;)

Out of the ashes and artistic phoenix rises... TAG
Author's Response:
All of this hope and positivity these last few chapters, huh? ;) Who am I? LOL

Nice to see Brian seemingly accepting his current situation more. TAG
Author's Response:
Yes, definitely. I realized I had not really written a full intimate scene from his point of view, and I really wanted to do that before this story was done.

Wow just wow what a wonderful chapter â¤ï¸So many questions answered and definitely closure for both of them and Gina
Author's Response:
Thank you <3 I really wanted to be able to give Justin and Brian that closure. Mostly Brian.

What a fantastic chapter. So glad to see them have some happy time. Your writing continues to amaze me. You are truly gifted.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much! <3 I'm glad you loved it!

Another amazing chapter! You had me worried for a moment with Justin's crisis, but Brian managed to get him home and force him to get rest.
I was wondering about the missing paintings and you gave us the answer. Even if Justin didn't remember, Brian did and it's important that he could get them back and not damaged. The last surprise was Mrs Abernathy: another closure for Brian. Although, her name should have been in the report from the police if she witnessed the accident. Maybe he didn't try to meet her.
I hope Gus will get to come to NYC and spend more time with his father. Maybe Brian and Justin will think having a kid now that they found some sort of routine and have some free time.
Cynthia is the best person in Brian's life, after Justin. I always loved her (and Daphne too; too bad she couldn't be there for the show).
Author's Response:
Thanks! <3 I needed to write a little hurt/comfort to mix in with all of this upward movement and positivity in these last few chapters. ;) I had never forgotten about the missing paintings -- although I think a lot of people thought I had. I wanted it to be a nice little surprise here at the end. As for having the name, in my mind I think Brian was so preoccupied with Justin that he wouldn't have reached out to her. There were a few "seeds" for future story planted here in this chapter, too. One of which was Gus. Not sure if they'll ever adopt a kid of their own, but Rob and Adam's girls are good stand-ins too. And I love writing Cynthia! So we'll be getting some more of her in the future too. I'm planning to continue this verse with one-shots that fit within it. I'm already working on one. The last part of this one is written and just waiting on one final extra component from another creator in the fandom. <3 I should be posting it Sunday.

Fantastic chapter. Good to see that Brian and Justin are moving forward and things are looking up.
Author's Response:
Thank you! <3 We are making our way toward our happy ending!

Brian really has grown up since he met Justin and since his accident; he accepts more being loved and that he can't control everything. Justin couldn't have found a better gift and in his own way, repaid Brian for all he received since they met.
I can't wait to see how Justin will react to the house in Pittsburgh.
Author's Response:
I think sometimes life forces us to make changes, and that's what has happened with Brian here. I'm glad you liked Brian's birthday gift! The house in Pittsburgh will be in part three, so a bit of a wait, but not too much. ;)
Date: Mar 08, 2019 6:35 pm Title: Renewal, Part One: Past, Present, and Future
What a terrific chapter. They have really grown up and are accepting the changes that they have to live with. Your writing is amazing.
Author's Response:
Thank you! <3 Our boys are certainly growing together, aren't they? :)

Getting old is not good. Believe me I know. But things are going good for Brian and Justin. So I feel better about it.
Author's Response:
It's a part of life, unfortunately...even for Brian Kinney. ;)

I think I've miss something important. When Justin accident happened
two of his paintings disappeared, right? So what happened with that?
Author's Response:
You haven't missed anything ;)

Great chapter! Very fun to read about Justin’s teaching gig. Love the way he regains his self-confidence by working with the kids. TAG
Author's Response:
Thank you <3 I was proud of this one. (And I wrote romance!)

Awww! So exciting to see Justin creating again. Also, had to go research what a standing chair was - excellent idea for Brian! TAG
Author's Response:
Yes! They're pretty cool.
Date: Mar 03, 2019 9:50 pm Title: Reinvention
Wonderful chapter. So happy that new problems arose for them. Adjusting to their circumstances really seems to make them even happier once they accept it. Fantastic writing.
Author's Response:
Thank you! Yes, they are realizing that a lot of the changes in their lives have been important, and that without the bad, there couldn't be the good.
Date: Mar 03, 2019 4:48 pm Title: Reinvention
I love it when a plan comes together, in this case two of them. Now you have to get Brian into doing yoga and you'll have three.
Author's Response:
Rob and Justin will try, but I'm not sure Brian will ever be receptive to it. ;) Not his thing! LOL
Date: Mar 03, 2019 3:19 pm Title: Reinvention
It's great to feel them "alive and kicking"! Justin more than Brian who is frustated by his art department. It seems that he won't have Justin working with him before a long time.
It's also great that Justin is starting yoga and having this little project with Nick.
Author's Response:
This chapter was fun to write -- even the romance, for a hurt/comfort girl like me. ;) They are alive and thankful, and starting to realize what's really important.

Hard to find words to give a review reflecting the feelings I have after reading this; too afraid it won't make justice. The acceptance and the love they have for each other: amazing! Brian seems to have learned his lesson; I hope he will be careful. Justin showing his work is a huge step towards his new confidence. Will Mikey keep his mouth shut?
Author's Response:
Ah, that's the question, isn't it? Will Michael prove to be a bad secret keeper? ;) Time will tell. I'm so glad you enjoyed this part -- saying that you aren't sure what to say to accurately reflect how you feel is just about one of the best reviews I could possibly get - thank you!
