Joan talking to Jennifer could greatly help to mend the fences between Brian and Joan.
Molly, John and Peter are smart enough to gather Intel and leave, with Jennifer coming to get them they will have the start of a strong safety net.
Can Michael be charged with abuse along with Claire?
And can Craig be charged with attempted vehicler manslaughter years later?

Great chapter. What a terrific update. Love all the twists and turns that you keep coming up with in each chapter. Let's me know you are feeling better or at least I hope so. Thanks for updating. So many writers are not doing any updates right now. I know RL, etc. get in the way, but unlike you and Ashita who have given a reason for not being able to write all the time, they just leave the stories WIP. Another writer is suffering migraines so that too is understandable. Not really complaining just stating how I feel. Take care and feel good.

Not surprised Michael opened his mouth he couldn't keep his mouth shut even if it was sown that way, he would whine from his armpit or Ass!!
I hope Brian and Joan can learn to be around each other without cringing or needing to attack, Brian will need to feel comfortable around her before he can even think about introducing her to Gus and Mel.

Joan is seeing the world the way it is and not the way she needed it to be to excuse her behavior.
Father Tom and Blake are showing her that ignorance isn't always bliss and that Brian is more than his sexuality. (Knew Blake was Father Tom's Nephew)
She is seeing how her paths lead to the estrangement between her and Brian and that forgiveness doesn't come from the bible it comes from earning it.
With time and patience Brian might one day say Joan and it not be a sneer or filled with contempt, friends is the best either one could hope for right now.
Craig and Claire might want to count their pennies cause lawyers aren't cheap lol
Are Claire and Craig at her house with John and Peter?
Has Lindsay spilled anything to her lovers?

Ya know my friend, that explanation of Justin's mannerisms and character: this is YOUR story and you seem to be worried about your readers feelings on any variation of said character(s). I say, there's no reason to explain your writings or the way YOU see the characters. I don't want or mean to sound bitchy in any way honey, I've just had it with people criticizing writers works of art. In my humble opinion, it's better to not say anything at all than to be rude or cruel to others in regards to the way they want a story or characters to move ahead or be different in their fanfics.
