FINALLY!!! I HAVE BEEN CHOMPING AT THE BIT ALL DAY TO GET BACK TO THIS!!!
It was interesting about Perkins and Dixon. When it was first revealed that Perkins was let go, I thought - wait a minute - then thought - oh yeah - that's the OTHER story. Then I thought if Perkins was let go, what about Dixon? So when Chase and Tara were talking to Sheila, it was interesting what Chase told her about him being a loose canon. They really screwed up their careers and lives being involved with Lindsay. Being forced to move in order to keep working, must be a hard truth for them. It never really clicked before just how much younger these kids were than Lindsay. But to realize they were still in high school and sleeping with her... she should also be charged with child molestation.
Okay, so we all know Lindsay is all about a means to an end, but seriously, punching yourself in the stomach to cause a miscarriage, WOW! I'm almost at a loss for words. I've had four children, and there is no way I can conceive someone being able to punch themselves hard enough to cause that much damage. But, it doesn't sound like she will get her insanity plea, just like Michael didn't get his.
Craig is finally starting to realize he should have kept his dick in his pants, and accepted his gay son. All, a little too late. And who's to say that Peter won't end up being gay, too? Did you ever read Vamphile's Keeping Series? Yeah, didn't happen in that one, either. But sorry, no tears being shed from me on his misfortune. And I loved reading Justin's words coming back to haunt Craig. He has many years to hear them over and over, again and again.
Howard Bellweather. Interesting you brought him in, too. Kip Thomas apparently still has an axe to grind where Justin's concerned. But interesting you saying Kip has never been the same. Has he kind of went off the deep end? And could this have been the plan Michael was talking about in Chapter 55? About Justin being proven a liar and the truth needs to come out in the open? if that's it, it's another case of, a little too late. Bellweather can't help him, anymore.
But other interesting info came from that meeting between Sheila, Rachel and lime-haired Bubble-hehe- (which I'm assuming he is a criminal informant, or is he FBI?) I don't remember that being stipulated. And boy-oh-boy, can't wait for Chris to get in with Bubba. Let The Good Times Roll. Ahh, Mikey - Privileges Revoked. No V-man marathon. But I do hope he's awarded a front row seat for the 20/20 interview.
Herkowitz is in for one hell of a shock when he gets back to his 'almost-empty' 4.8 million dollar office. He will rue the day he took on Hobbs, Sr and his clone. (is that Chris?) Who is Russo's lawyer? Or is that Herkowitz, too? Imagine his surprise when he looks at his checking account and it's missing 3.8 million!!! hehe!
You did so good putting all this together, Nichelle. I marvel at the story you have woven for us. Thank you for all this!!

Omg I had to read this chapter twice ( not a hardship) because you had so much going on and I couldn’t understand some of the legal parts. I just loved how the Kinney Taylor machine just rolls along and Justin stands so tall with everything he does. Brian is in awe of him these days.

WOW, OH WOW, OH WOW!!!! JUST WHERE DO I START?! I will just have to try breaking it down. But first, I want to say that after 62 chapters and almost 258k words, to realize only a couple, possibly three weeks have passed, is amazing!
Darius amazed me with his insight and knowledge of what is happening and what has happened. Can't believe, (yes, I can actually) that Russo has been taking bribes that long. And the knowledge that the country club set shunned him and the attackers family, was music to my ears. Just think of all the heartache that coud have been saved over the many years if Casey's bullet would have been aimed at Russo istead of her attacker. Another judge coming in probably wouldn't have let Seville off. Thus, killing two birds with a well-deserved bullet. And then we learned Chris had been arrested. 🙃
Glenn had some insightful knowledge to impart regarding a couple slimeballs. I felt sorry for Jennifer when full realization finally sunk in at what Hobbs, SR had done to Christian. Although she's not aware of the specifics, just the knowledge alone is enough to make a person's stomach churn. Then finding out Craig has set Justin up to take the fall for his embezzling, yeah, not a good meeting for Jennifer.
Melanie's talk with Harry, had me feeling sorry all over for him again being related that debauched degenate, Lance. So very happy Mel has found a way out for him from that no-good Herkowitz, (yeah, I shivered at the image of his dick stuck in a light socket, too) but I'm thinking he deserves it. Because if I'm following, his client, (I'm assuming you mean Hobbs) I'm thinking there's a past association between them. Either personal or professional, but it's there, and I don't think it's on the up and up.
I HAVE TO STOP HERE! I'VE HAD FIVE INTERRUPTIONS READING ALREADY AND JUST HAD COMPANY STOP IN. I WILL FINISH LATER. I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN TO READ IT ALL YET!!! GRRRRRR.....

Wow For Ted blowing (Not Literally!) Brian's preconceived notions out the window and showing behind that boring persona is a very strong individual who enjoys a little dominance and submission every now and then from his good friend and master Dale.
I did giggle when they went in search of Ted cause I knew how it would play out with Ted.
Now Brian and Justin needing some bonding time is not surprising they have been so busy with starting their business and New clients that they have really not had time for one another.
So they needed time in the mirror room to reconnect and strengthen their bonds so they can handle what is coming their way next and California should also help with their bonds too.

I really have to hand it to you, Nichelle. This is some of the best comedy I have ever read. I thought Star or Tag had that title, but you totally surpassed them. As soon as I read. Brian has the bright idea to go to Ted’s condo, I was thinking that might not be a good idea, but when they decided to go to Dale's, I was like, Oh Hell No! When they heard the gasps and moans, I thought, Stop. Go Back. Retreat. What I didn't expect was that they would think Ted was actually in trouble. I could see Brian holding the poker, raised like a bat ready to strike, tiptoeing through that door. Justin's dialogue of the scene that played out was so very funny. I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face and on top of that, got a coughing fit. But when Justin thought his innocence was completely destoyed, I thought,Brian, you're slipping. You apparently haven't taught the twink everything yet.
So then what happens, we move on to a very delicious, hot Brian and Justin love scene. Definitely way more sexy and satisfying than Ted. I certainly wasn't laughing anymore.
What would Mel think if they went with Justin's idea to line their bedroom with mirrors?!?!?
I can just about imagine Brian's looks and comments as he greets Ted the next time he sees him. Maybe he won't say anything, but I can almost see him looking at Ted with new respect in his eyes. So much for Dull Ted, who can't get laid.

Marta and Jessica will be very happy when they see what Brian band and Justin are going to do to take her career and Heirloom to a whole new level that will keep people talking about them from years.
Brian's inner retrospective is showing how he is not willing to let his past dictate his present and future, Joan was no saint but she is ready and willing to earn a place in Brian's life, plus perhaps it is wiser to leave the hurts and anger in the past where it belongs?
Brian may have lost Deb, Michael, Lindsay and Claire but he gained more by dropping the boulders trying to sink any chance at happiness, The Fillmores, Jared and Josiah, Jennifer, Molly, Ted, Emmett, Melanie, Blake, Dtew, Ben, Hunter, Joan, John, Peter, Gus, Cynthia, Daphne and others are his New Family and Friends.
By continuing to move forward Brian is breaking h old chains and forming more solid last in bonds that will improve not detract from his life.
when Justin gets as ideas watch out cause it will be good and if you piss him off it will be your Biggest Mistake!

Debbie's introspective of herself and Michael was spot on. It's about time she realizes the error of her ways with Michaels's upbringing. And there is Nothing wrong with Michael. No mental health issues, nor anything else she could think of. Spoiled, manipulative, and rotten through and through. Did she not slap him upside the head enough? I don't think that's it. She should have taken a switch to his ass when he first started showing signs of entitlement, and maybe washed his mouth out with soap once in a while. Heteronormative? I guess I never associated that with Michael. And how is it that she will be alone now? I thought she had Vic, Rodney and Alex. Is it because she's in court for Michael?
Well we have three more idiots to add to the list. Hmm, I know I mentioned once that I couldn't figure out what their beef was, and I guess now we know. But why would Gardner hire them to keep tabs on Brian and Justin? Brian had been let go at work, so I don't understand that part. How could Gardner hire them, if he no longer owned the company? Anyway, what kind of idiotic people have a conversation like that in a public restaurant? Serves them right that they were overheard and recorded. It's bad enough that Emmett and Brandon heard it from two tables over, but where was Hunter that he also heard it? They may think they are so smart, but when Brian hears that recording, Eric and Troy are gonna be out of a job, and any chance of spying, will disappear completely. Also, once Brian learns about Saps party, they won't have anything to hold over Brian or Justin's heads regarding that.
The thought of Michael having something in the house in California, is almost scary. As crazy as it seems, I can see that being the case. He probably also has a locked room or section of the house, where Brian would not be able to leave or escape. But if Michael was hoping for an reenactment of the Stockholm Syndrome, he would be waiting a hell of a long time. And I shudder to think of the length Michael would have gone to, to get Brian to California in the first place.
I think Brandon has a point about having an interstate search warrant, prior to anyone going to the house. They don't want the chance of contaminating any evidence that may be there, and possibly be accused of planting it there. BTW, I really like Brandon and Emmett hanging in there and making a go of their relationship. It's a match I'm sure I have never read before.
So happy to see an update of this story. I just love it.
