It was nice to get a resonse from you. I KNOW I ask WAY TOO questions, but trust me, unless it's something you don't plan on covering e.g. Anthony Locke, I really don't expeact answers. I guess I'm just putting out there things going through my mind as I read the chapter. So I do appreciate the explanation regaring Anthony.
I did remember Jason's sister and brother-in-law being at Jen's, but the step father/mother killing him, had escaped my memory.
I know one thing I didn't comment on, was the fact that they actually found these vials in Michael's possesion. I wasn't aware they were searching his office and home. Too bad we can't get video of Darius' find in Cali. (SEE, here I go again...) hehe,

Aha! So Troy and Eric are being implicated. I was wondering when that was going to come put. Why Justin let Eric's job application go through... is beyond me. I can't wait to see those little pissants get theirs. They thought they were so smart. Avery tried warning them... I wonder just how deep they are involved.
I think it was a given that Michael would have had to drug Brian to get him anyplace... but it's a mystery to me how he would have gotten a drugged Brian on a plane... unless he chartered a private one.
Will the house in Cali have a "cell" of sorts that he planned to keep Brian in? Did he plan to keep his water/food drugged so he could continue to have his way with him? What exactly was Michael hoping for? The Stockholm Syndrome to miraculously happen?
Was Lindsay aware of this house in Cali? How would she have acted once Brian was no place to be found? Or was Michael planning on 'taking her out' prior to disappearing?
I'm trying to come up with WHY the trio of dumbasses wanted Jason killed. Was it because he 'failed' in getting Justin to drink his drugged drink at Sap's party? And why was Jason hooked up with Sap and doing this when he had a positive family behind him?
So, Anthony Locke was the gym teacher, I gather? But how did Brian save Anthony's life? You said he was wanting to help Brian anyway he could, but what did he do to help Brian?

Hi Cathy,
Some of your questions will be answered later, but here are a couple of answers now.
Yes, Jason was killed because of his 'failure' to get Justin to drink. Although he had a positive family with his mother and sister, if you remember his father- or stepfather which is the case- was NOT. He was extremely abusive, especially to Jason. So he ran away, which is why he was homeless and living on the street. The mother is currently in jail for killing the stepfather. It was JK's sister who presented Jenn with the check for Brian and Justin. *See Chapter 9*
As for how Brian saved Anthony Locke's life, the answer is simple. Through giving Anthony something else to focus on, Brian gave the man back his purpose. When you are forced to live a lie for your entire life, it is often difficult to hold on to your self-worth. Brian reminded Anthony of two things: that he is a person worth knowing, and why the man had become an educator in the first place. That is why Charles considers Brian a hero in his eyes. Not only did Brian keep Anthony's secrets, but kept him from taking the drastic step that so many who are ill with Depression take.

Thank Goodness Charles went to go get that laptop it probably has a wealth of riches for the Prosecution but undeniable pain for the Defense.
With Michael's info, Sap's info, Craig's info and what they get from the account they are looking into Vance Troy and others will be going to jail and they won't get out in their lifetime or anyone else's.
They will all be fighting for the last life preserver not realizing it has holes in it and a Giant Tsunami is coming.
With the evidence being gathered they won't have a way to talk, cry whine or deflect their way out of this.

My heart breaks as I feel the slight tremble wracking the smaller frame of my youngest grandson. That comment hit me hard. My grandmther was always my safe haven. I can not even begin to fanthom that the touch of a grandmother could do that to a child. I haven't read a lot of stories where Joan Kinney comes to her senses and her and Brian can build a relationship, so it's always a pleasure when that transpires. And you've written it very realistic. It wsn't like "BOOM"... let's be mother/son. It's still a work in progress. But it has made lots of progress.
I had kind of a tightening in my chest for a moment when they were discussing getting a home. All I could think about was that it was just revealed Jennifer is going to sell Debbie's house...
Michael never changed his POA... can any of them really be surprised??? Brian's had to take care of Michael all these years... what's one more time??? Brian wll have to have papers filed to decline himself of the POA. In the meantime, can Brian refuse to act as POA?
Why do they think this ingestion could be accidental? He doesn't work in laundry, so why did he have bleach And Bubble can let everyone know that he switched the contents, and that the bleach was intended for him.
Yes, a lobotomy would have been ideal, but we are about 55 years too late. In Michael's case, too bad they were outlawed.

Just realized I didn't finish my thoughts on the reveal of Saps basement. I was so anxious to ask about proof of the parties he held and what he tried to do to all the young boys, I forgot to mention that I bet he has a large vault in his basement filled with every kind of drug known to mankind. And many hundreds of pounds of it, too.
And if the syringes can be found and figure out what kind of drug was/is in them, I bet that can be traced back to Sap, too.

These videos must have been the ones Troy was referring to way back with his first meeting with Ethan and Avery? And will any of this be albe to be traced back to Troy and in turn Eric? Because, regardless that their names are not being brought up at this moment in time, that is the first place we heard the term 'videos'. I'm curious though, how Troy would know these existed. And why would Sap 'give' these to Gardner? Because last I remember, Gardner did not have a pot to piss in, and I'm sure the videos were worth a fair penny. (Many fair pennies.)
Will we get full disclosure what will be found in the BASEMENT of Saps house? *SHUDDER* (I'm thinking partially it will be the sex/playroom) with the swings and other sexual paraphernalia which was used during these 'parties'. Will there be "Proof' of what actually took place?
I know it's foolish to play childish games, but in retaliation for Bellweather's part in this, could his BB pictures become public knowledge? I'm sure there's always some rag willing to print an expose of that magnitude.

Like I said, nothing too painful yet. But I found myself almost craving that this coud somehow play out like a TV show... BUT I know that's not realistic.
When J and B were saying:

I was waiting and wanting the TV camera to pan out and show us Michael as he was watching the interview and seeing the disbelieve and scoffing on his face at the words. And this was MILD. Wait until something he really doesn't want to hear being said. His ridicule at the prison. The same goes for Lindsay. Her mother's uttered words: “Which is just all sorts of horse pucky!” Would have had Lindsay cowering in embarrassment.
But since you CAN'T give us that, oh well, This will have to do. At least I know they will be seeing it, and probably having to waych it with others present.

Imagine my surprise when I decided to catch up with this story, and the last chapter read was 64!!! Sure, I do believe i read a later chapter, but was no don't a little in the dark when I read it. I was almost shocked how far back I had to go. So, after reading my past reviews, I reread 64, and now I'm here.
I'm really, REALLY trying to figure out how it will play out that Lindsay and Michael are more aware of the Jason Kemp arc, than what we are aware of. In cahoots with Reichert... it makes my blood turn cold!
I'm glad Kip is staying away from Bellweather... but I hope he stiffens his spine and goes to Brian and lays everything out for him. Or, are there still players out there that he needs to worry about regarding his safety. Because he MUST know, Michael and Lindsay can't get to him from prison, unless there's still a loose canon out there. And what, pray tell, is a 20/20 reporter doing with the likes of scumbag, Bellweather? THAT should prove interesting.
I hope copies of the coloring book make there way into prison. With a big JUSTIN TAYLOR on the front!!!
So Emmett feels Deb deserves some kind of forgiveness. She was told time and time again, but refused to believe it. And if I remember correctly, still didn't want to believe it while sitting in the courtroom hearing it! Hmm, not sure about that.
Looking forward to learning about the findings in the house in Cali. But, in a way - NOT!
Not sure I like Brian and Justin playing ball with Nancy. She pulled a 180 too fast for my liking. Green money talks, sure, but seconds before that, she was willing to believe what Lindsay told her as God's word!
And yes, I suppose I have to comment how cute the Jus, Jus, Jus was. It has to be a good feeling for Brian to know that Gus, an innocent, loves Justin that much.

Wonderful, just wonderful. I was so happy when I saw a new chapter. Fantastic writing as usual. My dad ran a movie theatre when I was growing up and I think I watched "Imitation of Life" 6 times in three days. It is a movie I never forgot. Joan is really doing rewriting the new chapter to get story and it is giving her the backbone she lost years ago, having so many people to help her readjust her thinking and see that life is better when you surround yourself with people who enhance your life not take from your life.
John Sr. just learned that instead of arguing just listen, agree and say Thank You cause everyone wants to see him improve his relationship with his kids while also making a better life for them as well, considering how close they will be to The Family he won't have to worry about having a support system because they have all their backs.
Michael still having Brian listed as his his medical POS is not surprising he is using whatever he can to keep Brian tied to him, I do hope Brian had his named removed and Dan's added?
She has another excuse to blame Brian for Michael trying to kill himself while ignoring he tried to harm someone else and it gives her just what she needs to cry, shout and demand attention while pretending she is concerned for Michael and badmouthing Brian, Justin and everyone else.
A lobotomy wouldn't help Michael because he doesn't have a brain to remove it got lost in the mail along with his heart.

Oh, how I can identify with this. I come from a family of 'yellers'. My partner was the calm, reasonable, psychologist-voiced one in our partnership. She spoke in order to de-escalate and stop a fight before it happened. To this day, I'll never forget yelling at her to "get angry, dammit!" We're just friends now, but she still has to remind me to use my 'inside voice' when I'm on a roll. LOL

Deb was in such a rush to by everyone to bend to he will and praise her that she totally ignored what Justin said about what Michael, Lindsay, Craig, Gary and Gardner tried to do to Justin.
She just saw that Jennifer and Joan are getting praised for changing their behaviors about their son and how they are accepted, she is ignoring as usual that they have earned and we still earning the their places in Brian and Justin's lves.
Her actions in front of everyone shows that Michael is the way he s because she still believes she is just entitled to bask in the light before Brian and Justin do.
