So Lindsay did have a ultimate plan involving Brian and I wouldn't be surprised if she planned to get rid of Lance and Michael or leave them holding the bag while she disappeared and Sam Auerbach was the perfect alibi.
Michael and Lance would've left Deb to face the charges for kidnapping across state lines, drug trafficking also across state lines and a host of other charges too.
Perhaps Deb would like to find that out while sitting in court defending Michael while glaring at Brian and Justin for hurting her Precious Baby.
Plus with Deb loudly proclaiming on Liberty Avenue how angry she is that Justin is suing her son and Brian isn't helping after everything she did for him it will look like she had motive to get Brian out of the way.
Did they have plans for Justin too?
Or Mel, Ted, Emmett or Jennifer?
That house will be filled with everything Michael thinks Brian wants I wouldn't be surprised if it was a version of the Loft with Michael's collectibles scattered about.
Wonder if Lindsay kept or took something from Brian he didn't realize was missing that might be in that house?
I feel for Justin with his headaches and then the guilt he and Brian seriously need to talk with each other and then to someone else.

Another all-nighter, yet here I am at ten to six just finishing up the first story.
How very sick Brian must feel inside to know Michael's ultimate plan of holding him prisoner in California. And the Crash test dummy comment is enough to make me sick! I certainly wouldn't put it past Michael.
I thought there were going to be police at the Cali house or that they had already gone through it. But, if Brandon is thinking he should go sooner... Aren't Brian, Justin, and Mel scheduled to set out for there tomorrow, too?
Justin is going to be bathed in guilt come morning.
I was trying to figure out how they acquired DNA samples of Michael, Lance, and Lindsay.
Are you aware that lethal injection is legal in the state of Philadelphia? Just saying...

That was a touch and go moment. Things would have gone so bad for Justin. Glad Brian able come on time. Having friends watching out for them. I still don't trust Lorenzo. He Should take Brian warning seriously.
Brian & Justin are the most strong characters. They need to comfort, listen the concern for each other. Its one of reason I hate michel so much for interferring whenever Brian & Justin needed time.

It was sad to see that Michael somewhere can still win and separate them. But it's nice to see Joan and Richard open Brian's eyes when they are almost unknown to each other.
I hope that Brian will not let Lorenzo get away with it because he has to take advantage of young people without defense. Fortunately Brian has a good support network.
Super chapter although a little scary because Brian and Justin are still fragile.

Whoa!!! What a bumpy night! Their "couple" is still so fragile.
It's great that Joan was able to tell Brian a few truths, and that he accepted them.
Brian (and Justin) is lucky to have some reliable people around him, otherwise, Justin would have been in serious trouble. Thanks to his allergies, he wouldn't have been very easy to deal with.

Boy, oh boy, was I ever happy to see this tonight. It's been a rough day, as I had another experience today, the same as I mentioned to you last night, only different content. So, this was definitely needed for more than one reason.
I do believe we are following the original timeline here... So, even though we all were aware of Michael's ultimate plan, it made me start thinking. When was Michael actually planning for this big kidnapping? Justin had already broken up with Ethan, and was already back with Brian, and had been for a while. But, if I understood correctly, Justin caught Michael with the syringe when he was still with Ethan. So, why didn't Michael move sooner, when he had more of a chance to get Brian alone? Then there was the comment regarding Jason Kemp... which Brian didn't comment on. They need to talk this through so that EVERY single thing comes to light. Although Brian might be willing to try, I don't think Sunshine, or not so Sunshiney at this moment, will be able to. And how are they going to be able to leave for California tomorrow, now? And do we yet know the variables of 'helpers' to help Michael in achieving this? Didn't Michael promise Sap a go at Brian too? Michael better be happy he's safely locked up, because when Brian finds out the truth about all of Michael's plan, Brian might be willing to risk a cell next to him to go in and kill him, himself.
Hmm, I think when Brandon questioned what Brian and Lorenzo were talking about at the end, I wish Brian would have said something about pulling a Sap. Just because Lorenzo knows Justin is off-limits, doesn't mean he won't use other unsuspecting twinks, just as Justin wasn't the only one Sap tried using.
Thank heavens for Joan and Richard, and for the others all looking out for Justin. But, once again I have to say, I'm very happy to know you love our boys, because as soon as it was mentioned that Justin was drinking Maker's, and was gone, I was nervous. But thank you for that one little hilarious vomiting moment... it totally lifted my spirits.
A group purchase of Babylon should be interesting. Between B/J, Em, Ted, and Brandon, we could have quite the fabulous place! I'm not sure if you intended on all of them... but hey! It sounds F.a.b.u.l.o.u.s!

Justin knew Brian would go for his defense of Michael he has to watch him do for Years and it hurts that despite all the evidence Brian would choose to excuse Michael's behavior yet again.
And that he allowed Michael to once again interfere in their relationship Justin wasn't lying he was trying to protect Brian and himself but still they both got hurt while Michael won again.
They both went seeking pain management only Justin's form would've got him raped and the video looped for everyone to watch over and over again.
Yes they do need to talk cause some things are hard to say and some truths are hard to face but if both can't handle it without hurting the other than their relationship is doomed and the Haters get what they have always wanted.
Michael was willing to go to any lengths to get Brian to bend to his will and because he was so good at playing innocent everyone refused to see the Devil hiding in disguise standing before them.
A part of Brian is still holding out hope and that is why he went to deny them protect Michael cause he was trained to see only the good and innocent version of Michael and like Joan and Richard said every ignored the evil in Michael's eyes, smiles and cruel words.
How could Justin compete against history and conditioning?
And how could he reveal another layer of Michael's duplicity without being accused of lying or making it up to hurt Michael?
Brian and Justin need to break the cycle in their way.

Deb has had many revelations about her and Michael's behavior but still she keeps going back to get old ways and routine to get everyone to bend to get will.
A change of scenery might help but as the trials get closer will she slip again and will Stephen be there to catch her once more?
I mean Joan is asking for one second chance but Deb has wasted all of hers and she is running out of help.

Although this is a good move for Deb, I'm a little surprised. WHY is Stephen so willing to help her? Why is Debbie NOT being held responsible for anything from a legal standpoint? She HAD to know Michael was stealing money in order to afford a house like that! You just don't have massive amounts of money to buy property in Palm Springs by owning a comic book shop. So, I really question how she can move out of the area, and not be held accountable.
And the fact her house has not been sold, if she has to pay money out of that, I still don't see how she feels she will have much money after the fact. I guess it boils down to if she owed any money on it, and how much it sells for. The wallpaper will definitely have to be changed-out beforehand!

Hey Cathy,
I'm sitting here looking over the reviews before I begin writing the update. I've found that reading such in-depth reviews from the viewpoints from the audience, is oft times the best to make sure of the story's continuity. You all are such an AMAZING group of people to write for, and I value the feedback so very much.
That said, I can't answer everything, BUTTTT one important thing to remember about Stephen is that he can see this entire situation from Deb's POV for a very specific reason. Not so long ago, he was set-up by his brother to take the fall for murders he didn't commit. Even though it's a different degree of betrayal, Stephen understands Deb trying to still see the good in the child she raised, since he tried to see the same in his own brother. It's why he understands why it's so hard for her to finally let go, and the reason he's so determined to help her pick up the pieces of the skewed perception concerning the one person she believed she really knew with all her heart.
As for Debbie: From a legal standpoint, her returning the house to its 'rightful' owner absolved her of being held legally responsible. Of course, Brian can still file a civil suit, but is he really apt to do that? For the full story on that you have to reread chapters 17-20, beginning with "May I Have Your Attention Please" which sets the scene for the reveals occuring in the following two.
