Fast moving first chapter. From meeting to domestic partners. From Mikey being a friend to no Mikey at all. Nice. Would Deb had thought Brian hit himself over the head with the vase just because Mikey couldn't face the truth? Probably.
I can't wait for everyone to find out about them. The shit will hit the fan with both Justin's family and the gang and even with Ryder, but they'll come out smelling like roses.
Let the fun begin.

Justin really is a spitfire! The parts with Debbie, Michael and Mel are proof of it.
He also is very loving and sensitive: the parts with Gus, Molly and their mother are proof of that too.
During all the drama, there were some funny moments (Daphne and her extinguisher, Molly and the idea of kissing boys for example).
The good news are Brian and Justin getting custody of Gus and Jennifer wanting to get rid of Craig.

Excellent and funny!
The parallel between the avenue's patrons and the animals is really great.
I especially loved these parts:
- ‘Weasel War Dance’
- The red headed harridan hippo at the diner defended the weasel but was reprimanded and reminded to beware that the little mocha lioness seen in the blond fox’s presence had a mighty roar and sharper claws.

Great beginning with a slow burning building relationship. Daphne is as a best friend as ever while Michael is the worst one.
Brian and Justin stimulate each other in more ways than one.
