I do think calling the baby Brian could be confusing but I agree that Victor Brian Grassi would be a much better name to honor not only Uncle Vic but Brian too. (Michael can keep Novotny and Deb could use her maiden name again?)
Ted and Emmett can be the godparents while Brian and Justin can be the Really Fun Uncles lol
Even if Lindsay could make it in time (Seriously Hope She Doesn't!) she can't stop what is going to happen but she could get thrown in jail...hmmm <scratches chin>
Brian and Justin getting married after the adoption is Wonderful and more likely what Lindsay would want to stop.
Michael back at The Big Q is not surprising in the least him thinking Brian should help him is laughable and idiotic smh
Wherever Claire is I hope she loses that money quickly then maybe she and Michael can work together at The Big Q like a loving happy couple <cringes>
Thankfully this time Deb will have a lot of people making sure she doesn't repeat history by raising another Michael.

So, Michael's back at the Big Q. Well at least he's not lying this time; he is married to a woman. Wonder what he'll say if anyone asks to meet her. LOL!
Yay! They're going to get married right after the adoption is finalized! If Lindsay comes back I wonder if she'll make it in time for the adoption or just in time to see them get married.
Not sure how I feel about them calling the baby Brian... I can understand Deb's reasoning, but like Justin, it feels uncomfortable. Probably because it feels like Michael is getting his way.

I wish they would have named the baby Victor Brian Novotney. There's no way the baby's last name can be Kinney, if both Michael and Claire are Novotney's. Michael might try to play off straight, but if the truth ever came out about WHY he's married and how he has abandoned his child, he might not even have a job. And demanding Brian help him? With what? Pay the hospital bill? Replace the money his wife took? Brian will laugh in his face. The hospital bill is definitely not Brian's problem.
So very happy that tomorrow is going to be the best day of their lives. The Adoption. The Marriage. They should send Michael an invitation, and on the bottom tell him they were just announcing it, but he's not invited! Let's just Hope to God, Lindsay remains in Greece, and hasn't again given Reese the slip. Unless you are at the close of this story, I figure Lindsay will show up, and find a way to stop the adoption.

In the race to see who is stupider Michael won by an inch because he idioticly put Claire's name on his account and she pocketed the Michael money on her way out of town lol
He won't see a cent of that money and if he stupidly married Claire then he is a Moron!
It was sweet of Justin to give the baby half his inheritance Brian really would've done the same.
Now Emmett, Ted, Blake, Craig and Cars can help Deb not make the same mistakes she did with Michael, cause that is my Biggest Concern with her raising this baby?
Michael and Claire make me sick they had a baby to trick Brian into taking care of them, and neither one cares what happens to the baby they just planned on forcing this poor child onto someone else while they have fun like kids in the candy store smh
Claire doesn't deserve to be around John, Peter much less that baby, with the way she spends money I doubt she will make it a month without running back for more.

OMG Starlight! You just made a really good story into an Amazing, Incredible, Awesome Story! I know I questioned you earlier if Michael and Claire made the baby the old fashioned way, but I wasn't really thinking that would be an option. But... What is this about, 'Claire Novotny'? Did he actually marry her, too? And Claire cleaned out Michael's bank account. Good for her. He used her, and she should have gotten something out of it. How much money did Micael have left in his account? He will really be relentless toward Brian now, thinking Brian needs to replace all the money he's lost. And he signed his Parental Rights over. The Parental Rights is a very good thing, because now he has absolutely nothing, and no way to take care of the baby. Good thing Debbie has the baby now, and Michael can't use the baby as a bargainng chip.
Did Justin not tell Brian everything? Justin told him, still nervous about something. Was it just the baby's name that Justin was worried about telling him, or is there something else that Justin hasn't told Brian about, yet.

Michael is a selfish prick who doesn't care about anyone but himself. If Deb could harden her heart more she'd realize that about him and walk away, but she did her best trying once again to get Michael to realize that his plan to get Brian to love him will never work because Brian never has and never will love Michael the way Michael wants him to.
Claire’s not going to get anywhere in her plan trying to convince Melanie that Brian ruined her marriage to Lindsay. Melanie knows the truth now, that her marriage failed was all down to her and Lindsay.
Love Melanie asking Claire for proof that Brian knew what she and Michael had planned. That should be very interesting to see what gruesome twosome come up with.
LOL! Claire is a female Michael! She thinks that Brian should support her for the rest of her life because she didn’t get out and make something of her life.

Craig and Cara came up with a very good idea concerning the boys. It would have been pretty hard on them having to travel with Brian and Justin or even just moving to Chicago. Staying with Craig and Cara is a much better solution for them all.
Hopefully the boys father will accept the job from Craig and do his best to get to know his sons and even get custody of them. We all know that Claire won't do what she should and actually be a mother. She needs to be locked up with Michael.

OMG! I am so glad my dinner was hours ago and had time to digest! That was a twist I did not see coming! Michael and Claire creating a baby!!! Yuck! Once again, I have to say I really love Craig especially in this chapter. Telling Brian he "practically begged to go clubbing" with Justin, Emmett and Blake was hysterical! Now I want to see that happen! LOL!

I have to say that I love Craig in this story and Cara, too. She stood up to Craig and made him realize that being gay isn't a choice and that he had missed out on a lot of Justin's life.

So happy that Brian didn't snap at Justin for snooping in his phone and discussed what was going on instead of trying to hide it or handle it on his own.
It's also good to see that Deb wasn't wanting Brian to do what she usually wanted and agreed to do what Blake was suggesting and send Michael to a lockdown rehab.
This is one screw up by Michael that worked in everyone else's favor. He thought he was being so clever in convincing the doctors that Brian was needed to make decisions for him. Well, Mikey, Brian made the decisions. Have fun in rehab!
