This was a fantastic chapter, even with Justin's backache. I only wish we could have seen pictures of the nursery. Lindsay sitting there all quiet, quietly fuming. Seeing Brian so loving and attentive must have really gotten to her. Ha! Good.
Brian was surprised by his daddy gift. The cufflinks and tiepin are beautiful.
Truly am glad Michael wasn't there.
Author's Response:
I wish I could have found the completed pictures of a similar nursery, but nothing I found dit the image in my head. And Lindsay was indeed suffering from sour grapes for several reasons. I loved those cufflinks when I found them; they were so perfect for Brian. And Michael was never going to make an appearance; I had other fish to fry in this segment. ;) Thanks for reading! :)

Awww. What a wonderful chapter full of gifts from everyone. The nursery was at the top of the list and I love that Brian also got gifts from his Sunshine and Sunbeam.
Author's Response:
The nursery was definitely the top of the list for Justin, although the baby rattle was a close second. Thanks for reading! :)

Terrific chapter. Your descriptions made it so possible to see each gift and the wrapping paper. The nursery sounded just perfect, also. Great writing.
Author's Response:
Thanks I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading! :)

I can't stop laughing about the Twinkies making their way into the gift boxes. That has Brian written all over it.
For anyone who says that Brian doesn't love Justin, rearraging the nursery for him proves them wrong.
Thanks for the update.
Author's Response:
Brian is a sly little shit when he wants to be. :) Thanks for reading!

Brian called Lindsay. Jealous and envious. As Brian said it wasn't up to him to make Lindsay happy, that was Mel's job.
So glad Brian can get the room back to the way he had wanted it before the mothers took over. Brian is so getting lucky after everyone leaves.
Jenn and her stories. Poor Justin.
Author's Response:
It always bugged me the way Lindsay always ran to Brian, expecting him to do the things she should have been relying on her partner to do; it's no wonder that Mel and Brian had such an acrimonious relationship with Lindsay always showing Mel that Brian was more important the Mel. Brian had always intended to do it that way; no way was he going to leave it like the moms had it and risk Justin's wrath. YOu gotta love mom stories. God, I hated when my mother would do that; and she took great joy in knowing it. Thanks for reading! :)

Good chapter, but you did get things out of order. In chapter 83, the games were played and prizes passed out and in this one you are going to start playing games, but I love the story so much that it never bothers me. Or maybe there are more games to play. Hope your Beta is doing ok.
Author's Response:
Things aren't out of order. :) Think of these two vignettes as puzzle pieces. They are Justin and Brian's POV's of that morning and so are happening simultaneously. So in terms of the order of events for the day, the first part of Justin's POV takes place (him watching the set up), and then the first part of Brian's (discovering Lindsay's snooping) , then Justin's POV of the brunch, then Brian's POV of brunch, etc. I wanted to cover both of their veiws of the entire event, but I didn't want to just show the same scenes from different POVs as that is something always annoys me as a reader. Thanks for reading! :)

I'm so glad that Brian is doing what Justin wants rather then what everyone else thinks should be done. Love his little chat with Lindsay.
Author's Response:
Brian had every intention of fixing it. He just couldn't do it that night because, by the time they mothers were done interfering, he knew that Emmett needed to do stuff for the party and needed to get Justin home. Thanks for reading! :)

I didn't think Lindsey would dare going into the rooms. Even if Brian knows her true self, he must be disappointed to see what she has becomes.
I can't wait to see how Justin will react when he will see Sunbeam's room. At least, it will be based on his wishes.
Author's Response:
Lindsay has always struck as a bit entitled and the way she always barged into the loft as if she had the right to do so, just makes me beleive that she'd have no compunctions of going into the rooms at Britin without permission. And Brian is disappointed as anyone would to see a childhood friend change to such a degree. The baby room reveal is coming up next! Thanks for reading! :)

All that food looks so good. Love the rainbow fruit skewers.
Author's Response:
Looking at the pictures definitely made me hungry. I so want all of it now. :) Thanks for reading! :)

A culinary degree and you write about Twinkies
All of the food looked wonderful favorites were Rainbow and French Toast Kabobs. Familiar with the other dishes. Fun chapter
Author's Response:
Hey! I'm not to blame for Justin's tastes! Actually, what happened with the Twinkies was, when I was making an outline for this story, I knew I wanted a running craving joke through it, so I asked my betas to give me a bad for you snack food, and Twinkies was the first thing they said. And all that food makes me hungry. I really need to eat...LOL! Thanks for reading! :)

The stories from Jennifer were very funny, even if they made Justin uncomfortable. There was nothing really embarrassing. The broken arm was already a sign that Justin was very brave and not yet ambidextrous, otherwise he wouldn't have minded about his thumb. The COCKPORN was hilarious.
Debbie isn't refined and it seems not delicate at all; OK, it's only a doll, but it's quite disturbing.
Lindsay must feel like she should be the center of the attention, not Justin; he stole her place in Brian's life. Mel should get rid of her and go on with her life, for Gus and Jenny's sake.
Author's Response:
LOL! I loved those stories; poor Justin. Even if the stories aren't that bad, it's always mortifying when mothers pull out the 'I can't beleive my child did that' stories. I know my mother delighted in doing that. Yeah, Deb's handling of the baby was worrying, but I doubt she was that bad with Michael. It was just a perfect opportunity for a Michael bashing/joke. There is definitely something up with Lindsay, and no, she doesn't like being in the shadows. Thanks for reading! :)

The first time Sunbeam uses a sippy cup
Author's Response:
Thanks! And thanks for reading!

What a great shower!!!! Could just picture all the things that were happening. Great writing once again.
Author's Response:
Thanks! I just did what I would want for my shower if I were ever to have one and had no budget, as I'm sure the boys didn't really have to worry about financial constraints. I admit it; it was a bit of selfish wish fulfillment. Thanks for reading! :)
Date: Mar 24, 2018 3:20 pm Title: March 22 (Part One)
I like how Justin got his yummies. Having all his secrets told was cruel but funny. What is Lindsay's problem. Is she upset because her shower wasn't as nice? I think you are right on the reasons Michael is the way he is.
Author's Response:
Brian to the rescue again. :) Mother stories, they are so mortifying when told at the time, and so funny in hindsight when you have your kids and suddenly understand their position. As for Lindsay, well, that will come out soon. :) Thanks for reading! :)

There's so many firsts, but what popped into my head would be the first time Justin or Brian got baby food or oatmeal thrown at them. I can picture the stunned look on either of their faces. Or if Sunbeam is a boy, the first time they get peed on while change a diaper. First haircut. First time either of them hear Dada. Just so many.
Jenn is funny when a bit tipsy. Commentary on Deb changing the dollbaby in reference to Michael, hystetical.
I think Justin may be in early labor and doesn't realize it. At least the nursery is set up. Perfect way to see the furniture for the first time.
Author's Response:
Thanks for the firsts. :) I already had a couple of them on the list, but I will jot down the other suggestions. Jen is defintiely funny when she's had a few too many, or has she? And I couldn't resist a dig at Michael. He is my least favorite character. Thanks for reading! :)

I forgive you but we will live with your schedule.. Em met the Twinkie Monster Hysterical
Author's Response:
Poor Em...he will never be the same again... Thanks for reading! :)

I feel sorry for Brian having to watch the videos. Twinkies rear their ugly heads again. Justin will probably hate them once Sunbeam is born LOL
Author's Response:
I have no doubt that Justin will want nothing to do with them. My experience with pregnant friends is, once they had the baby, those cravings were gone and they didn't want to see them again. Or, well, at least for a long while. Thanks for reading! :)
Date: Mar 23, 2018 6:30 pm Title: March 21
Brian is way too patient with Jennifer and Debbie: he should tell them to walk away and leave them alone. Enough is enough. Justin will be pleased to see the furniture (I hope), but maybe not by what they have done.
Don't worry about the updates: it's great to have one per day, but don't overdo; we can wait and savour the reading.
Author's Response:
Yeah, had I been Brian I would have told them to get aout a long time before that; but Brian was tying to play nice for some reason. Liely because the shower was the next day and he didn't want there to be any tension for Justin to deal with. Thanks for reading! :)
Date: Mar 23, 2018 1:54 pm Title: March 21
Great funny chapter. Love the way Em & Justin get along. Every other day updates is fine with me. The longer chapters are sometimes better, but seriously as long as you keep updating at all makes me happy. WIPS are my enemy. Sorry about the computer, but I have had that happen and it is a pain.
Author's Response:
Em and Justin are great friends as long as Em doesn't keep him away from the Twinkies. ;) I do like the longer chapters, but at the same time, when I came up with the idea of this story, I was only planning on 1500-2000 word chapters, which are easy to complete on a daily basis. But now, it's just too much. Thanks for reading! :)

Poor Emmett.
Author's Response:
Poor Emmett indeed; he has never had to face off with a hungry, Twikie-crazed Justin. And he thought Brian was exaggerating... Thanks for reading! :)

Justin's a dream to be around until he's hungry. Ha! For a minute I thought the stalker was around, although I'm sure he was. Thinking of a Daddy gift was nice. Yeah let Em borrow that for his clients.
Brian is so right about Justin and the nursery. Maybe Brian can put the stuff away that the busybodies set out some time before the shower. I know Brian couldn't have stopped them, but there really is no need for Justin to be upset.
Baby shower up next?
Author's Response:
Seriously, just don't get between him and his Twinkies and everything is fine. :) I always felt that the dad gets eclipsed during the whole pregnancy thing and that is something that we do in my family to show that the dad is just as important and appreciated. And those moms; they need to leave well enough alone. Thanks for reading! :)
Date: Mar 23, 2018 9:34 am Title: March 20
I laugh so hard when Brian runs commentary through all those videos.
At least it is taking their minds off of the stalker even for just a little bit.
Thanks for the update.
Author's Response:
I lugh all the way through those videos. I can't even take them seriously because all I can think about is how Brian would react to them. And then I end up crying because I'm laughing so hard. :) Thanks for reading!

Loving your story. Although I am really curious about the stalker I also curious about what This thing is with Linsy that Justin never told Brian about? I think it has something to do with the guy that Justin keeps saving these young men from. I will wait patiently to see if what I am thinking is correct. If I am right I hope Brian ends her. Please keep writing. Thank you.
Author's Response:
I'm glad that you're enjoying the story! the stalker issue will take a while longer to resolve itself, but the Lindsay issue will becoming to light soon, so stay tuned! :) Thanks for reading!

I love the "total non-cuddling way" Brian is using with Justin.
Poor guy, having to go through these videos; it must be painful to watch.
Author's Response:
They are pretty terrible. I've given up taking them seriously and just send the entire time imagining how Brian would react. :) Thanks for reading!
Date: Mar 22, 2018 3:21 pm Title: March 20
Reading about Brian & Justin watching these videos just cracks me up. I can just picture the looks and expressions on their faces. Too bad this isn't a video. Your writing portrays them so well. Great job. This story makes my day. I can't wait each morning to see the update. Thanks .
Author's Response:
I love these little segements because the thought of how they are going to react next is the only reason I would ever watch these videos. Brian especially. I'm glad that you're enjoying them! Thanks for reading!
