So relieved they talked!

Beautiful painting.

Author's Response:

It was really needed; now maybe they can make some decisions on what to do with all the pieces of the puzzle...or well, most of the pieces anyways; there are a couple of things yet to come. Thanks for reading! :)

Whatever it took for you to write this chapter it was worth it.  I'm glad they are now on the same page and have hashed everything out.

The yacht is beautiful!!!  I need a vacation. lol

Thanks for the update.

Author's Response:

So do I! Especially one that is on that yacht; wasn't it gorgeous? At least it was beneficial for our boys and they have managed to work things out. For now. They are unbelievably stubborn and insist on protecting each other to their own detriment. Thanks for reading! :)

Good idea by Justin to get them to a neutral place to discuss the difficult issue of Lindsay. As Brian says they are stronger when they have all the information together.

Author's Response:

Protecting each other to the detriment of themselves defintielky seems to be a flaw of theirs; but at least they made their way through this speed bump. Hopefully, they learn not to keep secrets. Thanks for reading! :)

Brian and Justin are both on the same page again and it looks like when they go home they will be strong enough to face the obstacles trying to get in the way of their happiness.

Getting to Drew's Gorgeous Yacht was just what they needed to face the hurt and pain they both kept buried, though things aren't fully resolved, it is enough that they are talking and not letting the anger get in the way of forgiveness.

Justin and Brian are smart to step back and let The Ladies handle that over used slug with no morals, consciences or heart for anyone but herself.

Brian will have enough to deal with fighting her in court cause no way will she give up Gus without a fight, which means dirty laundry will be aired and that is not good for Lindsay.

Brian's idea for getting Justin to use his influence to get others to boycott anyone associated with Simon is Genius!!

It also helps those who wanted to talk but couldn't know that they will be believed and protected by a community who isn't going to let these practices continue anymore.

Giving Tak aheads up about Simon helps to protect Justin in case he or any of his associates try something.

Still want to know why Lindsay was photographing the nursery?

Don't think Mel is going to push this under the Rug of Avoidance this time, Lindsay is on her own with no safety net anywhere this time.

Fantastic Update, Thanks :)

Author's Response:

There are definitely thigs they need to work out still; as always, when you keep secrets of this magnetude, you're always going to need some time to just heal after the purge. But they are in a better place, and they are working together; that's the important thing.

And if I were them, I'd stay the hell out of the Ladies way as well; that's just askint for trouble if you try to stop them. LOL! Better for Brian to focus on gethering evidence against Lindsay to use in the court case; at this point, making sure his Sonny Boy is safe and away from that woman is more important than petty revenge. That, and dealing with the reamining stalker issue.

Brian suggesting that Justin use his influence to spark change was a good thing; Justin sometimes forgets the power he holds in the art scene as he is a true artist at heart. He doesn't care about the prestige or the power that comes with it; he just wants to create and show the world from his point of view.

Tak will defintiely get a heads up; and Lindsay photographing the nursery does seem sketchy; I wonder what she was doing...?

Thanks for reading! :)

Thank goodness our boys FINALLY got their heads out of their asses and talked things out. Lindsay better keep a low pro though, because the contingent is going to be on that flat ass like white on rice! I need to get my popcorn and soda ready so I can enjoy the show LOL

Author's Response:

Yes, I'm glad they finally resolved their issues and can focus on the important matters - taking down Lindsay and Simon, and dealing with the stalker. It will definitely be interesting to see what those ladies have in store for Lindsay. It couldn't happen to a better person if you ask me. :) Thanks for reading! :)

Due to RL issues I have not had time to leave a proper review. This is just a quicky so to speak 😁. This story...your imaginative storytelling skills...the way you pull the reader into B and I'd World is simply .....Amazing.... Each Chapter is better than the last. I really can't express in words how much I love this story. I'll be back soon with a more detailed review on that EPIC Justin smackdown of Lindsay....that was pure gold.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I am glad that you've been enjoying the story. And I feel you on those RL issues; they always seem to get in the way of our fun. I do hoope that everything is okay and that RL starts to even out for you. :) Thanks for reading! :)

Author's Response:

Sometimes the muse is a stubborn, stuborn thing; worse that Brian and Justin combined. And when she wants something...she can be a pain until she gets it. Luckliy she loves this story and hasn't gotten distracted by the shiny. And the boys are happy again! Yay! Thanks for reading! :)

So glad the boys got away and dealt with everything. They really are in love...twinkies again!!! Love the pics of the yacht It really does help to see what they are talking about.Luv this story

Author's Response:

It's that yacht insane. I was just looking up interiors out of curiosity and couldn't beleive how elaborate they were. I certainly wouldn't mind a stay on one of those. Twinkies do seem to be a running theme in this story. I'll have to laugh if Justin can't even look at one after Sunbeam is born. Thanks for reading! :)

A much needed conversation. You did them proud. Was very well written.

Terrific details of Justin's painting, all the use of the colours and what they meant to him.

They will, as always, come out of this stronger now, adn will be able to face all the negative forces together.

Lindsey has no idea what she's in for now. Don't feel any sympathy for her at all.

Well done!!

cheers,

Elaine

Author's Response:

They needed that; and hopefully, now that all of the issues are out in the open, they'll get around to the important stuff. And thanks; I'm always nervous posting something like that as art is subjective, but Justin just really needed to get all that out, so I went with it. And Lindsay is going to regret the day she was born once Brian gets through with her. Thanks for reading! :)

I am so glad to see that Brian and Justin have gotten their secrets out of the way.  Getting away from it all is just what they need.  The painting with the colors sounds fantastic, but I think the black should be reserved for Lindsay as she tainted everything.

Author's Response:

With a clean slate they can definitely come at the problem(s) with a fresh look at them and sole them together. As for Lindsay, she definitely contributes a lot of the black in the painting, but there are other players, and not all have been revealed, so she doesn't get the full blame. Thanks for reading! :)

That painting should go in their bedroom so they can always remember when they see it Never To Keep Secrets.

Brian and Justin getting away is good the family needs to stop seeing Brian and Justin's relationship as sport they can view whenever they want

This relationship is about two people and is not a group activity, plus their opinions just exacerbate a situation that really needs to be dealt with by Brian and Justin.

Drew is a Great Friend who is ready to help them escape so they can strengthen their bond and he doesn't need to be in the center of the storm to see that it is going to be bad and he should mind his own business.

Perhaps after talking, reconnecting and facing Lindsay together, they should sit down the family and lay down some rules that everyone will follow or face dire consequences before Sunbeam is born.

Can't avoid confrontation forever and certain members of this family need to wait to be asked to help and not run roughshod over Brian and Justin.

Author's Response:

It definitely should hang somewhere prominent, where they can see it every day, and remember what keeping secrets can do. And it's true that the family, despite their good intentions, need to butt out. It's easy to believe that because you see a couple interacting that you know what's going on in their relationship, and that is so far from the truth it isn't funny. I remember when I broke up with one of my boyfriends, my friends couldn't believe it because he seemed so sweet and charming on the surface. He seemed to have it all together and my friends were jealous. But what they didn't see was behind the scenes where he was a lazy, indecisive mess that drove me insane. He couldn't make a decision to save his life, even if it was just what to have for dinner that night. And I had to get out before I ended up throttling him. A vast majority of a relationship, especially with someone as closed off as Brian, happens behind closed doors; assuming you know anything that's going on...well you know what happens when you assume... That was a good talk.  I think they do need to get away and regroup before the baby comes.  Justin shouldn't be under so much stress right now.

Thanks for the update.

Author's Response:

I've always felt that neutral territory helps a great deal when opening up abou something that's on your mind, and the ocean or beach in particular is always soothing to me. Plus they are in a place that the family, for good or ill, can't access them, whichh means less stress and they can focus on each other. Thanks for reading! :)

Well, Justin got a dose of his own medicine here. He can hide things to protect but Brian can’t? Sorry, but you don’t get a pass from me sunshine. Our boys still have some talking to do

Author's Response:

That they do; Justin really does need to see that his reaction is no better than Brian's, and I have faith that he will work that out once his head cools a bit; and hopefully, with everything out in the open, they will sit down and talk, and actually listen to each other this time. They are both right in ways, and both are most definitely wrong.

I think Brina is kdding himself if he really thinks that Lindsey will just stop her schemes and games just because of a peice of paper. Is it neivete or is it demial. A part of him still hoping that there's a bit of decency still in her? I know what he says...but is he really beleiving it. Justin is able to see if from a less biased POV. He never had a relationship with her like Brian did. He has good reason not to trust her. I do agree though that he should've talked to Brian. I know Brian would more than likely tried to take over, tried to do things his own way, etc, but he still should've been told. That was all vital information and he could've helped. I don't think it was a lack of trust on Justin's part, but it was definitely protecting him.

Brian thankfully has been upfront or at least more so than Justin was, about what's going on. A frightening situation and Justin needs to be aware so he can be more careful. I think also that Justin is being neive on his part too. thinking that he's dealt with simon etc. Gee...I wonder who's behind the stalking? or behind the drugging? Yup...Justin needs to get his head out of his ass when it comes to Simon. It's not over by any means.

Neither dealt with things well. Both need to get a handle on how to deal with these issues. both need to communicate with the other better. Have to say though, Brian has come a long way!!

Terrific update!

Cheers,

Elaine

Author's Response:

I'm not exactly sure what Brian is holding over Lindsay's head, as he's not talking about it yet; but he is indeed holding something over her head and it's significant enough that he he feels that it will keep her in line. Now, whether it actually will is another situation entirely. As someone pointed out in another review, desperate people will take desperate measues to secure their position. And Lindsay has always be out for number one; and I don't think even Gus could stop her if she were truly pushed into a corner. We'll have to see where this leads.

Justin is equally blind; he thinks that he knows what Simon's response will be based on past actions. But, Justin has been actively aggravating the issue by saving Simon's would-be toys and messing with his games. He's excaped his wrath so far because of his prominance. But it doesn't mean that Simon will hold off indefinitely. And he needs to face that fact.

And yes, they are both wrong in this situation; not that the desire to protect the one you love is in any way, shape or form wrong, but they went about it in the wrong way. Keeping secrets is never a good idea; especially whne you're dealing with an unbalanced individual like the stalker. They need to both pull their heads out of their asses and get it together before this asshole strikes again.

Thanks for reading! :)

Brian and Justin have a lot of anger to move past before they can talk calmy and rationally.

Brian is being naive about how manipulative Lindsay is when she isn't getting her way, what good is a piece of paper when Lindsay has been playing Brian for years and despite knowing how manipulative she is Brian forgives and excuses her behavior?

Hell he did it for Michael for years and even after the bashing and Michael was still picking on Justin Brian excused it??

It took Brian years to really truly stand up to both of them, perhaps Justin didn't think Brian would believe or listen to him?

Now on to Justin who is being naive about Simon and his Cronies not wanting revenge for Justin getting in the way of their illicit fun?

Someone could be using or working with the Stalker and/ or Blaine to scare and intimidate Justin to stop interfering??

Never underestimate the desperate they are more ruthless cause they figure if they are going down anyway then they have nothing else to lose by murdering someone.

Is it just Lindsay Justin is worried about or is it something else?

If it's something else then Justin's continued lying is not justified they can take it on together rather than apart.

They both need to put all the cards on the table including the big red anger cards, talk and move on cause Lindsay isn't going to stay away for much longer, neither is The Stalker or Blaine.

Also Emmett and everyone else needs to stay away and out of their relationship For Good.

Drew was smart not to take sides and keep his nose and everything else out of it.

Author's Response:

That has always been a problem with Brian; he's always forgiven Lindsay, and Michael, far too easily. I know that if my so-called friends had done even a fraction of the things that they've done to him, they would no longer be my friends. I don't tolerate stupidity or abuse when it comes to my friendships, and those who think they can treat me that way, get kicked to the curb. I hope that Brian is finally growing beyond that.

Justin is indeed being naive; whether it is Simon and his cronies or not, he bears watching because Justin has been routinely pissing in Simon's pond and a man like Simon will not take that well at all. He needs to see that this is a potential threat to him and Brian so long as Justin keeps rescuing these kids.

As for Lindsay, I think there are many reasons that Justin didn't tell Brian, and part of that goes back to Brian always defending Lindsay and Micahel even when they were so obviously in the wrong. Brian has done it numerous times and Justin is likely gun shy about that. As for what other reasons well, we'll have to wait and see if their are any.

The boys will get there eventually; it's just going to take some work from the both of them. Thanks for reading! :)

Author's Response:

Yeah, they sure made a mess of this thing; but I have a feeling that now that everything is out, they'll get their heads straight and resolve things. :) As for Mr. Grey, while I'm not a 50 Shades fan, I can't deny that Jamie Dornan is a beautiful man. :)

As Brian summarized it: "That went well". After Brian storming out, now it's Justin.

I love how Drew is very fact based and very observant.

Author's Response:

Well, they were always going to butt heads once Justin found out that Brian was keeping things secret as well. He's never been very happy when Brian holds things back or in for 'his own good' and I didn't really see him saying, 'I completely understand why you did this, honey.' They were always going to, at the very least, have a heated discussion on this. and I love Drew in this; if only more of the family too this approach. Thanks for reading! :)

Now it seems that we are right back where we started from.  Only now it is Justin who is leaving before he says something.  sigh.  I guess it would be hard for Justin to tell Brian about how nasty Lindsay was, but was it because he thought Brian wouldn't understand?  Afterall, Brian had Lindsay's number when he went after his rights?

Author's Response:

Well, this was nevr going to be a smooth conversation between the two of them; they were already very stressed and dealing with heightened emotins due to the confrontation with Lindsay, the family all trying to get their two cents in, no matter how accurate they might be in some of their observations, and the first fight between them. It was bound to reach explosion levels when everything was revealed. As for Justin, I think there is a lot of shades to why he did waht he did at the time. Yes, Lindsay seemed contained, but Brian also had a history of forgiving her and Michael far too easily. I can understand Justin's fear that it could happen again. I don't agree that he should have kept it a secret, but I do understand those feelings. Thanks for reading! :)

I agree, this isn't just Justin being in the wrong, half of their relationship is Brian making decisions for others because he thinks he knows what's best for everyone.  He knows how independent Justin is (remember the Kip story-line).  Justin is just as strong when it comes to protecting others as Brian is, so I don't see this all being Justin's fault, they are BOTH at fault, and they both have to deal with their "I'll take care of you first" theme they got going here.  Hell there are things to this day that Justin doesn't know, like I said Brian has kept quite a lot from Justin.  And I'm with Justin, a piece of paper that tells Lindsay she can't do this or that isn't going to stop her getting what she wants, plus Brian has given free passes to Lindsay and Michael in the past, he's forgiven very easily.

Final words, they are both in the wrong, they should both apologize and move on, but still knowing that both of them will do what they have to to protect the ones they love.

Author's Response:

They definitely share the blame when it comes to this situation, and others. As they say, it takes two to tango, and Justin didn't get here by himself. And neither did Brian for that matter. They always have the best of intentions, thinking that they know how the other will react, and what will be best for them in the end. And that always backfires on them. You would think that they'd learn by now, but they always seem to fall into that trap of thinking they know best. Hopefully, now that everyting is in the open, they can talk it out like rational adults and move onto other important matters. Thanks for reading! :)

Wow.  Didn't see that coming from Mother Taylor.  But I'm glad she was showing Justin the other side of the situation.  It's true that Justin would have had a huge queen out and it would have been so much worse.

It's nice to see Brian be the adult for a change.  I can't wait for their talk.

Author's Response:

Justin, no matter his intentions, was wrong to keep this to himself, and I'm glad that Mother Taylor took him to task for his actions in as calm a manner as possible; this way he really heard the message and it stuck. Brian is justifiably angry at the situation, and Justin needed to see that, had the roles been reversed, he wouldn't have reacted any better than Brian. Thanks for reading! :)
