I really like like this story, but it makes me very very angry…at both Mikey the weasel and Brian the idiot. Mikey I get…he’s just being the obtuse asshole he’s always been, but Brian…at some point you have to realize that just because you’ve been friends with someone since you were 14 doesn’t mean you have to remain friends with them forever. And I absolutely hate Deb for refusing to handle her own son and guilting Brian into taking responsibility for him. If I were Justin I’m not sure I’d want someone back how could treat me so shitty while catering to the whiney weasel. Cowlip should have left Mikey in Portland so everyone else could lead a happy life

This was a great story and I was so excited that Brian and Justin got their happily ever after, but I just think Michael got off way too easy after everything he did to Brian, Justin and Gus. Here's hoping that all that counseling worked and he ended up changing his ways.

Well... this was different. I'm not quite sure it was for me. Your writing is awesome, though. And, I certainly don't agree to the ending. I believe Ted has more than proved himself as a best friend. And with all the crazy shit Michael said and did, ESPECIALLY hitting Gus, causing his face to bruise... unh unh. Then suing Brian and Justin with Lindsay's help... I would have never spoke to Michael again. Lindsay either... he should have sued for parental rights of Gus.
Just my personal opinion, but I did enjoy your writing style.

I agree with you. But some reviewers seemed to think I was too hard on poor Mikey. Plus in the series Michael always seemed to get a pass on all his hits. If you by chance read any of my other stories you'll see that Michael doesn't get away with things like he did in this one.

I was going thru stories looking for something to read while I wait for updates on current stories and found this one. It is wonderful. I have to say the only person I have ever hated in my life is a fictional character named Michael Novotney. Go figure !!!!!!

I really liked the premise of this story. I too thought that it was a bad idea for Justin to simply head off to NYC with no real plan. Very unrealistic and impulsive. I can definitely see him hitting rock bottom because he was too proud to ask for help and then having to crawl home. Thanks for writing this version. TAG

Do I have your permission to slap Michael so hard he ends up on the moon? The moment he slapped Gus I really saw red. They guy is so delusional.
There are a lot of Anti Michael stories around which aren't half as hilarious as this one is and not as well written as this one is.
I not only want to slap Mikey but Lindsay and Debbie as well. On the other hand I really want to snog Emmet into the ground. Such a darling man and let's not forget Teddy. They are Brian and Justin's true friends.
I hope you keep up the writing for I adored this one. And btw welcome to KD.

GREAT story!! Ooooohhhhhh-WEEEEEE, I wanted to punch Michael in his delusional head for every single misdeed against Justin but LAWD HAM TURKEY JEEEEZUS!!! When he hit Gus!!!!!! If I could have gone through the computer screen and injected myself in the story at that moment I WOULD HAVE!!! And then that fracking Lindsay and her idiotic self!! I wanted to line her, Debbie and Melanie up and issue them on huge COMMUNITY SLAP to knock the blinders off and some sense into them.
My heart went out to both Brian and Justin in this. I'm glad they took the time to know each other again before jumping back into the proverbial saddle. They needed to reconcile who they were then to who they are five years later. Awesome Job!! Looking forward to MORE of your writing!

I first posted it in 2010 and didn't post my next story until 2013. I prefer to have a finished story before posting just in case my muse goes on vacation. lol. Thank you for commenting.

this was good... but i wish you had extended the ending a bit. The final chapter seemed rushed. I would have enjoyed it coming about slower to reveal how they got the happy ending.
